Technical Writer

Firing Technology  (Head office Bremen, Germany)


As a member of our development department, you realise sophisticated documentation projects - from first planning until the finished product. In close cooperation with the product managers, you are responsible for designing and servicing the operating and service manuals accompanying the products. Another main task of this job is servicing and updating our Internet pages in cooperation with our marketing specialists and sales managers. For this purpose, you research the required technical information, structure the results and prepare them in accordance with the target group.

For this challenging position, you should be a post-graduate technical writer or have a technical degree including an additional professional training. Well-founded technical knowledge - ideally in the firing plants field - is another precondition. You enjoy adapting quickly to new subject matters, dealing with complex technical circumstances and describing them in a comprehensible form to the users. You should be familiar with maintaining documentations, and you must have knowledge in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Illustrator. You must have good HTML skills and experience in working with docuglobe (editorial system) and Interleaf/Qicksilver are a plus. Competent knowledge of English and ideally another foreign language complete your profile. In terms of personal skills, your working style is systematic and target-orientated, you are creative, and you have excellent communication skills and show exemplary commitment.
