Excellence in practise on board: Container ships
The comparatively low steam consumption on board container ships makes
the SAACKE composite boiler together with the SAACKE rotary cup burner
the ideal solution for these applications.
Our reference list includes more than 250 container ships. Here is just a random selection:

Either horizontal (CBKG) or vertical (K/KD), the SAACKE composite boiler is easy to accommodate. At sea it utilises the waste heat from the main engine, while the SAACKE burner unit cuts in to maintain the steam production when the main engine is not running. The SAACKE composite boiler system is designed for fully automatic operation with modulating burner load control depending on the boiler steam pressure.
